Rushville- 6/23/11

The Thursday race at Rushville was a very interesting race avoiding all of the flipping and wrecking all night long. I probably could have got more positions in the feature but with how everyone was driving last night i was more worried about bringing the car home in one piece. When I had a chance I took it but didn't push the issue. We were still working on getting the carburetors fixed. I am hoping to get the carburetors fixed by the next race or we might just pull them and put the old ones on the car. I am looking forward to the Fair night at Shelby County Fair Grounds. I hope to hear my fans cheering me on and hoping to get my first feature win in the TQ.

Shelbyville, IN 6/11/11

This time at Shelbyville we did better than the first time. We still were having trouble with the carburetors. With the crash happening right in front of me, I had no where to go and was bumped right into the infield. I still recovered nicely, with an 8th place finish. I feel that this week we have made improvements but we still have a lot to do, not only with the car but me myself.

6/4/11 - Rushville

We had our third race of the season at Rushville. We fixed our engine issues and the car ran great. The track was very rough, so I didn't push it very hard in the heat, finishing 5th. In the feature, I started on the outside of the front row. The outside was not good, so I fell back early, but I was right there in the lead pack all night. I finished 7th. This helped me in the points. I am now 7th in points. I want to finish the year in the top 5 in the points, ,so we are heading in the right direction! The new carbs are really helping us out.

5/14/11 - Shelbyville

We finally got to race! Unfortunately, we didn't do as well as we would have liked. We battled some fueling issues and then was sent to the tail after spinning to miss a disabled car. Brought the car home in one piece in 10th position. Next race at Twin Cities should be much better.
